FREE AT LAST! Hallelujah! We are certainly living in times where the church of Jesus Christ is being awakened to live and operate in the freedom and authority we have been given through the finished work of the cross, and our covenant relationship we have with our God!

The enemy wasted no time in using the pandemic he thrust on this world to his advantage. He did everything he could to weaken and silence the church. However, he underestimated the power of the Spirit that resides in every believer. We have something the enemy can never understand, nor does he have the power to withstand it. We are created in the image of God. We have His likeness! From the moment we became born again – His Own Spirit recreated our spirits and He took occupation within us! You and I are spirits, created in the image and likeness of God Himself – carrying the full measure of His personality and power!
Take a look at this portion of scripture and see yourself as you really are:
Ephesians 3:16-20, “May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being]unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]”
Let me say it again – you and I are spirits, created in the image and likeness of God Himself – carrying the full measure of His personality and power! This power we carry is God Himself, and the more we spend time recognising Who lives within us, acknowledging His Presence, and turning our affection and devotion towards Him – the more we experience the reality of that power.
Psalms 91:1 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].”
When we make dwelling in the Presence of God – knowing we are inseparably connected to Him – our primary focus, we experience a freedom in Him from all fear, and all threats of the enemy – in fact we become detached from them! This is our greatest weapon against him. Living from our spirits! This is the primary message of the entire Bible! Our inseparable connection with God is our victory! We are where His Own Spirit resides, and where His Spirit is, there is freedom! 2 Corinthians 3:17 says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).” The devil CANNOT have any influence over you, or your family, or anything concerning you!
The very next verse tells us how to let this reality of our freedom increase inside us – 2 Corinthians 3:18, “And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendour and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.”
Praise God! When we live conscious of our position of freedom in Christ Jesus, it changes the way we pray. We pray from where we know we are seated – in heavenly places with Christ, from a position of victory – now we are able to pray from the authority Jesus has given us!
Matthew 18:18-20, “Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven. Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven. For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.”
We want to encourage you to make every effort to renew your mind concerning the inseparable connection you have with God. Constantly remind yourself of who you really are – a spirit who is created in the image and likeness of God Himself – carrying the full measure of His personality and power, and entitled to operate in full authority to bind and loose on this earth!
This makes you a powerful enemy to the devil and his wicked agenda, and it makes you a carrier of the freedom of heaven! So push back the devil’s agenda, and bring the freedom of heaven everywhere you go!
