Jenny and I are so grateful for the opportunity to encourage you in the Word today! We are certainly living in interesting times! Every day we hear of new developments that fall in line with Biblical prophecy, stirring an urgency in the hearts of Believers all over the world. It’s an urgency to remain alert and attentive to the leading of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
While this world is rapidly moving towards mirroring the days of Lot and Noah, the church is being reinforced with supernatural strength, and becoming skilled in operating in faith and power! We call this: living the ascended life! It’s a life where we live with a keen awareness of our identity in Christ, and our position of righteousness, authority and power over all the works of the devil.
While spiritual, evil forces are doing their best to set this world on fire – the great restrainer, the Spirit filled church of Jesus Christ – is moving in a far greater force of Holy Ghost fire! We are setting hearts that have grown cold towards the Lord ablaze again! It’s time to wake up the sleeping church and have her fill up her lamp with oil – we have a job to do, before our bridegroom comes to fetch us, and we must do it together!
Which is why Jenny and I, and our precious FaithTV team, are so thankful to have such wonderful, faithful partners, who are actively participating in seeing the end time harvest of souls come flooding into the kingdom!
Today, we want to show you from Scripture, how we have been well equipped to live the same ascended life Jesus demonstrated for us when He walked this earth. John 3:13 says, “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.”
Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus that He lived a lifestyle of constantly ascending to a place of fellowship with His Father, while He was here on earth. This is a lifestyle we are invited to enjoy too. It is possible for us to live in the constant awareness of being one with the Father, seeing His perspective and hearing His heart for every circumstance, and then declaring or speaking out His perfect will so we can see it established in our lives, and over the lives of others.
After Jesus was resurrected and seated at the right hand of the Father, in His glorified body, Ephesians 2:5-6 tells us that we were made alive in Him, and were raised up and seated together with Him in heavenly places too. This is the fulfillment of God’s plan from the beginning!
Before Jesus went to the cross He spoke to His Father saying, “that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” (John 17:21). Then in verse 22 and 23 He said, “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, …”. Look at what He says in verse 24: “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me…”.
The more this reality of our unity with the Godhead becomes a revelation to us, the more we understand how to tap into the powerful force of faith and power we have flowing inside us, from our inseparable connection to the indwelling Spirit of God! This way we will consistently enforce the enemy’s defeat over every area of our lives. At the same time, we will be able to release the atmosphere of God’s kingdom – wherever we go!
How does this happen? We remain in fellowship with the Lord over His written Word! I remember hearing Bill Johnson saying in one of his messages, “We are meant to live in the felt realisation of His presence, and host His Word in our souls as the greatest of treasures, then the end result will be to speak and things will happen.”.
As you and I confidently draw near to the Lord in prayer and enter His throne room of grace, by faith – He will reveal His heart to us concerning every area of our lives, and what He wants to do through us. Then, whatever we hear, see, or sense Him say to us – we promptly obey. That obedience may be to declare something out aloud in our prayer time, or physically do something He has put on our hearts to do.
Then, with hearts overflowing with thanksgiving, we can watch His will be established in that area and rejoice over this priceless gift of living the ascended life in Him!
Praise God! What a joy to do this together – as partners in His kingdom!
Thank you again for your on-going love, prayers and financial support to this ministry – we have no doubt that as the Lord leads you to sow into His kingdom work this month – you will be richly rewarded, just as His Word promises!
We love and appreciate you so very much!
