Welcome to the month of March! This is the beginning of a new season wherever you are in the world. In spite of what the current weather conditions are, for those in the Southern Hemisphere, you are officially entering into autumn; and for those in the Northern Hemisphere, this month will welcome in spring! The point being – for believers, regardless of what the circumstances in the natural seem to predict, we have the Word of God that tells us the reality of the times and seasons the church is entering into.
For those who are securely rooted in the Lord Jesus Christ, we are embarking on the most glorious season of our journey of faith! While the world is being catapulted towards her darkest hour, those who have put their full trust in the Lord are beginning to shine brighter than ever before as His glory rises upon them! (Isaiah 60:1-2).
We are not down-playing the reality of the severity of the dangerous and difficult times the church is facing, we are simply stating the truth that God loves His church and will keep her safe and victorious right up until His Son appears to take her home – hallelujah!
Which is why Jenny and I, and our entire team want you to know how much we appreciate you and all our ministry partners! Instead of backing off or shrinking back in fear, we have all stepped down heavier on the accelerator – giving our all to see God’s kingdom advance across this earth before we make our exit.
While many churches and ministries are giving into compromise and falling away from the faith – we are declaring the full, unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ, louder and further than ever before! And we thank God for each of our faithful partners like you, who constantly push this vision and purpose forward through your purposeful generosity in prayer and financial seed. As you sow into this end-time work to see every nation around the globe having their airwaves saturated with the truth, we are able to expand our reach exponentially! According to the Word – your part in all this ensures an eternal reward from our commander in chief – the Lord Jesus, Himself.
Having said all this, Jenny and I want to release a sobering word of warning and encouragement concerning the times the church has entered into. We want to ensure you of your victory in Christ Jesus at all times, and to urge you to continually, at all times keep your focus on Him!
Hebrews 12:3 says, “Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.” (AMPC)
As we mentioned above, we live in a time where no matter where in the world you are, there is trouble all around. Isaiah 60:2 is a prophetic verse referring to the days we are currently living in. It says darkness will cover the earth, and dense darkness the people. Just like the days of Noah, before the flood – society at large has completely lost its moral compass. It has ruled out the integrity and relevance of God’s Word. Most concerning is how many Christians, who are making a stand for the truth, and what is right by the Word’s standards, are being openly persecuted. In parts of what is known as the “free world”, pastors are either heavily fined, or imprisoned for preaching God’s unadulterated truth, or refusing to compromise on their Bible based convictions. There have been rumours of a great censorship of all Christian voices that carry the full truth of the Gospel, across all media platforms, in an attempt to silence every voice that contradicts the anti-Christ agenda. As we are nearing the forced world-wide economic and political collapse to usher in the new world order – setting the stage for the Anti-Christ, there is extreme pressure on all people, everywhere. The Bible speaks of the times we are living in as the birth pains before the tribulation. There are wars, rumours of wars, famines, earthquakes, pandemics or plagues and persecution. We are witnessing severe moral decay, great deception, and the love of many growing cold as they fall away from the faith. What does the Bible say we are to do when faced with trials and challenges on every side? Hebrews 12:3 says we are to look up and consider Jesus! Because of the finished work of the cross we have been given everything we need to overcome every challenge as we fix our attention on Him and His Word. John 14:1 says, “DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.”.
We are to look to Jesus and the victory we have in Him right now! He is the author and finisher of our faith. When we take our eyes off the trouble that surrounds us and place it on the truth of His Word, we will become moved by the thoughts of God instead of being moved by the circumstances around us. Don’t be anxious or faint in your mind, but trust in your covenant God as you refuse to compromise your faith and stand for what is right.
Remember, we have nothing to fear because the Lord promised He would call us to Himself before the man of lawlessness (Anti-Christ) takes his place on the world stage. (2 Thessalonians 2:1, 7).
So, from now until that glorious day of His appearing – Look up! Keep yourself rooted in Jesus and have His glory burn brightly upon you, and together we will inflict damage on the kingdom of darkness until we are taken home to be with the Lord forever!
John 14:1-3, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
